I made a few of these pot holders a couple summers ago.  I love to use them for other things, like keeping the condensation off of my desk. It's extra fun because it adds a bit of color to my drab supply-closet of an office. It also keeps the bottles and cups from clanking on the desk, which I find a bit annoying.
