While I waited for proofs at the paper I spent way too much time looking at cat memes.

Sigh.

But to be honest they were funny. I love an awesome picture of a grumpy cat or one with a smash-face. 

For me, this hedgehog took the cake.

Here's to not having a grumpy day, but LOL'ing instead.

We are now into day 3 of winter storm Brutus and that’s 10 inches of snow in my front yard. Yikes!

Too bad I’m working instead of out playing in it again today. Sigh.

Snow has been falling in and off for more than 24 hours and I’m really loving it. Yesterday was more wet and slushy but this morning brought the big fluffy flakes that I love so much.

The greatest snow in earth? Most likely.

Today I went to Pioneer Park for the farmers market, Trolley Square for a book signing, and The Gateway for a movie. Walked over three miles and took UTA everywhere else. Such a good day.

I've been told recently that all animal print is tacky.

I happen to disagree, but I'd like to get a consensus.  

You see, I have this zebra print rug.  And shower curtain.  But that is about the extent of the home decor.  I don't have fuzzy picture frames, satin bed pillows, or stemware.  

And I have 1 zebra print belt.  Not a drawer full of unmentionables, a dress, or a pair of heels.

Besides, I for one believe that animal print is a bit overdone.  I'll be one of the first to mention it's trashy reputation.  And really, can it be new in fashion this season if it never really went away??  The answer is no.  And in all honesty, I'm not a fan of the leopard print for that exact reason.  It's waaaaaay over done.  

But mine is a classic black and white zebra print.  Class with an edge?  Possibly.  It's black and white, not brown accented with a cheap piece of pink lace or a red sole.

Besides, I'm a fan of a well placed accessory no matter the pattern.  If it's done right, it's hot.
