This mug isn't so old, but I have had it for a few years now.  It's my favorite one.

At the time I was looking for a mug that would hold 2 cups of coffee instead of one. I wanted something unique, and with a handle that would comfortably fit 3 fingers in it.  Trust me, it was harder to find than it sounds.

One trip to the downtown farmers market produced such a mug and I snatched it up as soon as I saw it. And probably paid more than I should have for it. I'm willing to pay the price for the perfect thing. Add in that it was blue-green in color and had fish etched into it and I didn't care what the cost was to make it mine.

It has been exactly what I wanted it to be. Emotionally, it brings together the past and the present and the future. There is hope, expectation and honesty. 

Yes, it is just a coffee mug. But for me it is much more.
