Well, I'm still home. That arctic air that keeps my toes cold? Yeah, well it also keeps ice on the road. My sister and I decided, that while it made us both sad, it was not very safe to travel. (especially since it's about time for new tires) So I stayed home.
And the gas money I would have spent went into feast worthy food for tonight. Pork loin, green beans, carrots, mashed potatoes, creme brule, and egg nog. I will be one full rollie pollie by the end of this. And it will be so good!!
In other news…
I sold my wedding dress. It went out in the mail yesterday. I cannot tell you the relief I feel to have that out of my space. Not only for clearing-out-things-I'll-never-use purposes, but for everything else too. The energy it was sucking out of me was amazing. I didn't realize it until I got home yesterday and walked into this room and it wasn't here. Now I can spend the day looking at the pictures of it (it really was a beautiful dress and looked really good on me) and I can let it go. And be thankful it served its purpose in my life and let it go. The girl who bought it lives in San Diego and will be using the dress at the end of next week. May the dress bring her the happiness she desires and deserves.
Also, I'm feeling like I need to do something creative today. Which is awesome since I have a lot of creative things that need doing. Yay! I'm making a list!
I'm listening to Christmas Music. I have been all week. I don't usually start this early, but it seems to be ok this year. It warms my heart. I'm sure by the middle of December I'll be ready to shoot the radio. 🙂
I'm off to be productive and plan the next few days. Trying to decide if I want to go shopping tomorrow afternoon. Hmmm. I'm thinking… nope.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
