Heard of a new duo a couple weeks ago.  Snagged their first album last week.  I'm pretty much downloading the second one as I type this.  Yep, I like it.

It's Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward.  Now, I've never heard of M. Ward before this.  But, Zooey is an actress.  In fact, her sister is Emily Deschanel who plays Dr. Temperance Brennan on Bones.  Fox.  Thursdays.  7pm.  Same time as Vampire Diaries on CW.  🙂

Zooey is also an actress.  Recently in 100 Days of Summer.  Also in Failure to Lunch with Matthew McConaghey and Sarah Jessica Parker (barf).  Anyway, she's pretty darn cute.

The music is kinda throwback retro.  Reminiscent of the Beach Boys, The Carpenters, and the Mamas and the Papas.  Kinda pretty much awesome.
